Over 80 players and guests came together on 17th January 2026 at Avisford Park Hotel, near Arundel, to celebrate all of the achievements of our region’s clubs and players, not just on the terrain but also those who make a huge contribution to our sport.
As well as a tasty two-course meal, we had our annual prize-giving, and the loudest cheers of the night came as the Vice President’s Trophy was awarded to Hilary Kidd for her outstanding contribution to the region, especially her flawless running of so many of our competitions. After the raffle, we danced the rest of the night away courtesy of DJ Johnny.
The evening’s raffle raised a fantastic £535 for the juniors to help fund their development and travel. A special mention too for this year’s inaugural International Men’s Day Doubles, the brainchild of Dave Kilshaw and held at Fareham PC, which raised £385 in aid of Prostate Cancer UK.
Overall, a great evening: tasty food, great new venue, generous support for the raffle and a fun DJ.
