Worthing Autumn Doubles ’22

A pleasant Autumn morning saw 28 teams take to the Worthing pistes.

The morning kicked off promptly at 10.00 and after three games Phil and Steve Daykin had dropped only two points, starting the afternoon as top seeds.

The knock out stages progressed without too many surprises until Phil and Steve met Harrison and Roger in the Gold final. Phil and Steve did eventually prevail, winning 13-11 after a long game, but were trailing for much of the time.
