“Lloyd moved to Weymouth six months ago from Norwich where he used to play petanque, he found no facilities in Weymouth.
I have attended a meeting with the Council with him and they seem to be supportive. The area in which the come and try session was held is Radipole Gardens, they are due to be redeveloped in the next six months and although the plans did not include petanque we are hoping they might find room for us – Still under negotiation.
In the meantime Lloyd has done well to gather a group of of potential players/members and will hold more sessions in the near future.” – Chris Chubb
