Today we received the sad news that one of the founder members of Southampton City Petanque Club, Jill Lovelock, has passed away.
Jill had a long fight against cancer but passed peacfully on Wednesday morning. Whilst she has not been part of the ‘petanque scene’ for some time there are many that will remember her from the past. Our sincere condolences to Robin who, while desperately sad, has known for a long time that this was coming and is grateful for all the years that they had together after her diagnosis.

For Petanque friends wishing to pay their respects to Jill the funeral will be at The Test Valley Crematorium on Thursday 7th April at 14.30., then afterwards at the Cromwell Arms, Romsey.
