It is with great sadness that Shedfield Petanque Club announces the death of Wendy Watkins.
Wendy was a founder and lifelong member of our club from the mid-1970s and together with her late husband Lou was always a staunch supporter.
Wendy was always a fine and very competitive player and continued to play and enjoy petanque into her nineties. In 2018 Shedfield Petanque Club celebrated her 90th birthday with a party and a competition in her honour.
