As we are not able to hold a normal AGM in the current circumstances, SCPA committee is trying an alternative approach this year.
Our ‘virtual AGM’ will comprises two parts:
- Members can vote on AGM issues in advance, using an on-line form. This is available now and must be completed by Thursday, 19 November.
- Members can join a live Zoom meeting on 22 November, where president Steve Lombard and the committee will give updates, announce the results of the voting, and answer any pre-submitted questions from members. It will not be possible to have ad-hoc questions “from the floor” on the day, but members who have raised questions in advance may be invited to speak.
Members should have already recieved full AGM details from their club secretaries, and this includes the links to the questionnaire and the Zoom virtual AGM. Please contact your club secretary if you have not recieved this.

Please do complete the voting form by next Thursday 19th to support SCPA and ensure that your views are represented, even if you do not intend to join the Zoom meeting. It is very straightforward and only takes 5 minutes to do. We would also welcome your comments and/or questions, which may be submitted in the last part of the online form.
