Thank you to everyone who braved the unusually cold weather at Adur Spring Triples on Sunday. Graham Elcome welcomed everyone and the mornings play began. Bobble hats and gloves started appearing soon after lunch as the temperature plummeted but spirits were still high. There was a good turnout and everyone enjoyed themselves despite the lack of sunshine and numerous layers of clothing! Congratulations to Lee, Angie and Debbie on a spectacular Gold win.
A warm welcome to 2 new members to Adur – Marion Banks and Terri Jacobs calling themselves the Adur Newbies. They have only been playing the game for a couple of weeks and this was their first competition, so getting through to the Bronze Consolage was excellent. It was great to see Matt Slater back playing after a long break, welcome back Matt and looking forward to seeing you at more competitions.
