The first of this winter’s SCPA Melees was held at Shedfield on Sunday, November 5th. There were 24 players present but only 3 clubs (Shedfield, Fareham and Cobbetts) represented on what was a beautifully sunny and surprisingly warm November morning.
After four 40 minutes rounds the final placings were as follows:
- Winner: Dave Stubbs (Cobbetts) 4 wins +31
- Runner-up: Rick Antill (Shedfield) 3 wins and a draw +17
- 3rd: Daena Vincent (Fareham) 3 wins and a draw +9
- 4th Mike Shepherd (Fareham) 2 wins and 2 draws +8
- Friendliest Player: Alan Samuel (Fareham)) 1 draw -12
